June 19, 2012 – Overland Park, Kan – iModules Software, the leading online engagement and fundraising solution in higher education, welcomes Fred Weiss as President, effective immediately. Tom DeBacco, former iModules President, co-founder, and CEO, will remain active with the company as a member of the Board of Directors. “Being a serial entrepreneur, ten years is the longest I have been engaged in a singular business and iModules is at a place that new leadership is welcome by me,” explains DeBacco.

For more than 10 years, iModules has been growing successfully in the higher education software industry. Executive Chairman Tom Palmer explains, “Tom DeBacco has been invaluable to the growth and success of iModules. We are grateful for his significant contribution.” Palmer expressed enthusiasm regarding this next chapter for iModules, saying “the Board and I are excited to have Fred Weiss as President. Fred has a tremendous amount of experience and passion and will drive the continued growth of iModules.”

Weiss is a leader in the higher education advancement community with more than 20 years experience. He was most recently the Senior Vice President at SunGard Higher Education, overseeing a technology portfolio which included advancement, business intelligence, admissions and recruiting, student retention and success, and several platforms such as portals and mobile. He brings significant product strategy, sales, professional services, general management, and leadership skills to his role as President of iModules. “I look forward to further propelling iModules as the preeminent provider in online engagement and fundraising. We have a bright future ahead of us,” says Weiss.

In May 2012, iModules celebrated its tenth anniversary since opening doors in 2002 with just 10 employees. The company has experienced unprecedented growth, including being ranked on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies in America, recognition as one of the Kansas City Business Journal's Champions of Business, receiving the Chamber of Commerce Economic Growth Council's NOVA Award, and recognition as one of Lead 411's Technology 500.

To accommodate the continued growth at iModules, the company will relocate to a new building in Leawood, Kansas in the first quarter of 2013. The current building, located near the intersection of College Boulevard and Nall Avenue, will be demolished and a new structure will be built for the technology firm. This will allow iModules to better service its more than 600 clients through state-of-the-art training facilities and space for events and customer support. “The new space will allow the company and our staff to fit more comfortably with opportunity for further growth in the near future,” explains Weiss.

iModules will host its sixth annual Sizzler conference July 22 through 25 at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri. A record number of clients and partners will attend this three-day user’s conference with opportunities for hands-on training, networking, and presentations regarding industry trends and best practices. LinkedIn’s® John Hill, Higher Education Evangelist, and Christina Allen, Director of Product Management, are the keynote speakers and will discuss the exclusive partnership between iModules and the world’s largest professional network on the Internet. In the upcoming months, iModules will release a unique integration with LinkedIn that will enable institutions to retrieve the most up-to-date professional data from constituents. Weiss will open and close the event as part of his role as President.
