Established in 1874, two years before Colorado became a state, Colorado College is a private, liberal arts college. CC is located nearly 70 miles south of Denver, in Colorado Springs, Colo. With more than 2,000 undergraduate students, CC boasts a strong academic program. The college offers students more than 80 majors, minors and specialized programs. Its student body is one of the most select, with the median ACT of the class of 2012 at 31, and one-fourth of the class graduated in the top one percent of their high school graduating class.
