2011 iModules Sizzler User Conference Recap
Fifth annual conference remains one of the best learning and networking experiences of the year, especially for advancement
July 27, 2011 – Overland Park, Kan –Last week, nearly 350 iModules clients from around the world descended on Kansas City for four days of learning and networking at the 2011 iModules Sizzler User Conference. Often praised by clients as the best conference they attend each year, the 2011 Sizzler held up to its reputation.
“Sizzler is one of the best conferences I’ve been to because it’s very interactive. You’re getting information you can use immediately. The ability to sit across from a designer or a data person or application support really makes a difference,” said Adrienne Gibson from Scripps College.
This year’s conference provided 67 programming options designed to fit the needs of every level of user and many opportunities for product feedback, idea exchanges, and hands-on help.
“One of the benefits of a SaaS model is that clients receive continual enhancements to the software based on their feedback and market trends,” said President and CEO Tom DeBacco. “Sizzler is a key touch point for gathering their input and understanding their goals.”
New additions to this year’s conference were an advanced track, a technology and data track, several panel discussions, and a mobile website supported by iModules technology. The conference also featured 10 for 10 Presentations, where 10 clients talk for 10 minutes about quick, great ideas. This has been an attendee favorite for the past three years.
“The new track system at Sizzler is great. I’ve met a lot of people from alumni associations of bigger schools, but it doesn't matter whether you’re in development or work for a high school. You can find others like you at Sizzler and get great ideas,” said Chase Carter from the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association.
