Marshall University launches new site
Founded in 1837, Marshall University is a coeducation, public research university named after John Marshall, the fourth Chief Justice of the United States. Located in Huntington, WV, Marshall offers its more than 13,000 students 44 baccalaureate programs and 46 graduate programs. Marshall provides its students with study abroad opportunities in 38 countries at 163 different sites. In addition to its academic offers, Marshall also has 192 recognized student organizations.
Marshall University recently selected Encompass for its new alumni online solution. In selecting Encompass from iModules, Marshall University wanted a strong technology solution that allows them to increase membership and affinity with its alumni through e-mail marketing, social and professional networking, and data management. In addition, Marshall plans to utilize the online giving capabilities from Encompass. Marshall will use the Content Management System to create a much more aesthetically appealing website.
