June 19, 2012 – Overland Park, Kan – iModules Software, the leading online engagement and fundraising solution in higher education, welcomes Fred Weiss as President, effective immediately. Tom DeBacco, former iModules President, co-founder, and CEO, will remain active with the company as a member of the Board of Directors. “Being a serial entrepreneur, ten years is the longest I have been engaged in a singular business and iModules is at a place that new leadership is welcome by me,” explains DeBacco.

DeBacco led the company through unprecedented growth since its founding in 2002, including being ranked on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies in America and recognition as one of Lead 411's Technology 500. Executive Chairman Tom Palmer explains, “Tom DeBacco has been invaluable to the growth and success of iModules. We are grateful for his significant contribution.”

For more than 10 years, iModules has been growing successfully in the higher education software industry. Palmer expressed enthusiasm regarding this next chapter for iModules, saying “the Board and I are excited to have Fred Weiss as President. Fred has a tremendous amount of experience and passion and will drive the continued growth of iModules.”

Weiss is a leader in the higher education advancement community with more than 20 years experience. He was most recently the Senior Vice President at SunGard Higher Education, overseeing a technology portfolio which included advancement, business intelligence, admissions and recruiting, student retention and success, and several platforms such as portals and mobile. Fred has also served in a variety of volunteer capacities with CASE, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. He brings significant product strategy, sales, professional services, general management, and leadership skills to his role as President of iModules.
