iModules Software announces 2011 scholarship winners

Scholarship benefits 10 students enrolled in secondary and higher education institutions that are iModules clients

May 18, 2011 – Overland Park, Kan – iModules Software recently announced the winners for the 2011 iModules Scholarship competition. In its fourth year, the iModules Scholarship Program continues to grow, awarding 10 students with scholarships for the 2011-2012 school year. The iModules scholarship selection committee evaluated the nearly 1,000 submissions through a series of reviews to determine this year’s winners. iModules has awarded 29 students with scholarships since its inception.

“At iModules, we believe helping deserving students further their education is one of the greatest gifts to give back to our clients and the communities they serve,” iModules CEO Tom DeBacoo said. “As the program grows, I continue to be impressed with the quality of essays that make it challenging for our committee to make its selection.”

iModules awarded ten $1,500 scholarships to students totaling $15,000. Recipients range from high school to graduate students. The 2010 winners are:

Kelly Hickman, Culinary Institute of America
Gabriela Markolovic, Academy of the Holy Angels
Charlotte McCoy, East Carolina University
Lauren McDuffie, Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School
Chachere Moore, Middle Tennessee State University
Jennifer Nguyen, Mills College
Michael Tuori, Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Established in 2008, the iModules Scholarship Program provides financial support to students enrolled in secondary and higher education institutions that are iModules clients. The students apply online through a website powered by Encompass from iModules where students can submit their applications and essays electronically. Applications for the 2012 Scholarship Program will be accepted beginning the fall of 2011.
