The Content Management Module of the Encompass platform delivers dynamically generated content for visitors to your site while giving administrators a simple, interactive tool for managing online communities and its content. Using built-in interactive editors, pre-designed templates, rich editing techniques and with access to raw HTML source each page, communication, campaign and form can be highly customized to your design criteria. Once complete, designs can be stored in the system for future or ongoing uses.
Dynamically Generated
One of the unique features of Encompass is how content can be dynamically incorporated into newsletters and other communications to members. You create a template choosing the sources of content, schedule the frequency of the piece and let the system automatically create it for you. You can even customize templates to include or exclude information based on the actual interests of a targeted member.
Personalization
People like information that is customized to their interests. When you create content for your site you can individualize which members will see certain content, offers, events, news and the like. By targeting your message you efficiently build affinity with members because your site reflects their interests.
Interactive Editor
By giving site managers a choice when they to choose to edit content either off-line or in-place you will have the ultimate flexibility in keeping your site fresh and up to date. Our editing tools include access to your image library, hyperlinking tools, text styling and, if you prefer, access to raw HTML code.
Calendaring & Schedules
What's going on this week at your institution? One of the easiest ways to engage your constituents and members with your institution are through events. Integrated with our event management system, site designers can place dynamically updating calendars throughout a site. These calendars can filter content for specific users and can include events from several different campaigns all presented in either traditional or list views.
Content Search
No matter how well designed your website might be, there will always be visitors that will have trouble finding exactly what they are look for on your site. We offer "site-wide" content search allowing users to quickly search and find the content they want. And more importantly our "site" search respects access permissions of visitors ensuring they only see content with the proper credentials.
Template Management
With dozens of pre-defined designs, and the ability to create your own, you can increase the consistency of your communications to your audience with our templates library. By using our re-occuring communication feature for newsletters not only does your communication look consistent they will be delivered on a reliable schedule.
Image Store
Upload, store, manage and retrieve the imagery you need to deploy a great looking site. Having easy access to images from your content management system decreases development time of your website content.
Reporting
One of the best ways to continuously improve your content is to regularly measure it's effectiveness. How many folks opened your email, how many are clicking on a link, and who actually clicked on information for that event scheduled next month? How many people updated their online profile, who registered for an event yesterday? This is just the beginning of the ways you can better manage your site with insightful reporting.
Workflow Management
Encompass will support sophisticated scheduling and workflow management functions that will improve content management. The system provides content publishing and approval on a channel, page or module level.

Later this year we will also include ways to analyze your web traffic to learn which pages and offers are most popular. Use this information to improve your design and site's content.
